Description of work:
Supply and install custom trim for a restoration project on the interior of a unique old home. The scope of the project involved identifying the correct species of wood, duplicating the profile of original moulding and sections of flooring, matching the finish of the new work as close as possible to existing, and installing new components as per my specification.
Excellent results. This was not a huge project but one that required patience and thought. I am a “restoration minded” customer, meaning, my desire is to replicate original design and re-use components where I can. Few carpenters would be interested in this scope of work, reproducing existing fit and finish, but Mr. Foster and I were on the same page right from the beginning.
